When you look at it from an objective point of view it makes complete sense. Whilst you are taking the time to jog and stay in shape, why not combine that with your babies daily walk and kill two birds with one stone? To do this though, you need a specialist bit of equipment, and that is where the Graco Fastaction Jogger Stroller comes to the fore. This three wheeled marvel will have you jogging with your young accomplice in no time at all!
All you have really said so far is that I can jog with it
To the untrained eye this stroller looks very simple and straightforward. However, Graco have actually managed to squeeze a lot of impressive features into this compact frame. As well as having multi-platform connectivity for other Graco devices, this stroller has a one-second, one-hand fold and an automatic storage lock to prevent it from springing back open. This is a very handy feature to have when you’re in a rush – as you often are when jogging! It also has air filled tyres which offer suspension when going over bumps, and the front wheel has a special swivel function to give you total control when you are in full jogging flow!
What makes this stroller the best out there?
The attention to the smaller details is what really makes the Graco stand out. The manufacturers have thought of everything, and good examples of this include the dedicated phone holder, the fact that the front tyre swivels 360 degrees to give you absolute control of direction and speed, and the one-second fold which can be very useful if you are hurrying to get out of the door.
It can’t all be perfect though can it?
There are a lot of good things to be said about this stroller, but there are also a couple of areas in which it could improve. The first of these is with the size. Now, whilst it is important that a stroller is big enough to still fit your baby even after a period of growth, this particular one has proven to be a little too large for some people who have smaller cars. As a result of this they have found it to be a bit of a pain to transport from A to B! The other small flaw is that the phone holder was not designed for the bigger phones out there, so you may be left holding yours if that is the case!
So why should I consider this stroller?
To cut a long story short, this stroller keeps things very simple but it does everything well. The Graco Fastaction pays attention to the smaller things that could have become a bigger issue if such attention was not paid to them like the quick fold down mechanism, so if you are looking for a no nonsense jogging stroller, you may just have found what you were looking for!
First Runner Up – The Schwinn Arrow Single Stroller
This Schwinn stroller is a lot more streamlined than the one mentioned above. It has large 16 inch pneumatic air tires and moulded rims, and these help to provide you with an incredibly smooth ride when combined with the rear dual shock absorbers. With clever features like rubberised grips and a canopy for your baby, this is a very good stroller, but it isn’t quite perfect as having to take the wheels off every time you wish to take the stroller out in the car can become a cumbersome exercise. Once they are on the ride feels very smooth, but until then things are a bit of a battle!
Second Runner Up – the Allen Sports Child Jogger
Designed in a way that makes it look more sporty straight off the bat, the Allen is a good choice for people who are not looking to break the bank but would still like a very good stroller to go jogging with. It is constructed out of very lightweight steel which means that you will barely notice when it is in use, and the fact that it can also attach to bikes is a plus. However please note that there is no suspension included so it could be tough going for your little one if the terrain is bumpy, and as the seat has no real padding included in it, you may want to consider purchasing a cushion too.
Third Runner Up – The Baby Trend Stealth Jogger Travel System
Coming in at the slightly more expensive end of the scale, the Baby Trend Stealth Jogger is a very good stroller. It has a number of features that are missing on some of its rivals like the removable front bumper bar that also swings away, and the fact that it can accept the Baby Trend car seat, so if you are wanting to move your child from car to stroller without hassle you can. If you have an older child be careful with this stroller though as it has a maximum weight allowance of 50 pounds, and we don’t want any accidents happening!
Can you please sum all of this information up for me
When looking back at all of the strollers in this review, it is clear to see that the Graco Fastaction is the best affordable jogging stroller. It has so many clever features that will make your daily run that little bit easier and quicker, and it will also look after your baby too with the air filled rubber tires offering an added layer of suspension to prevent your child from any nasty bumps in the road. If you are looking for a new stroller with which to jog, then you have certainly come to the right place as this is a device which will suit all of your needs.
